Tips

To access tab quick menus, to do things like change the zone on the map screen, press the selected tab button again.

To find special maps like Collectors Edition Treasure Maps and Tales of Tribute Clues, enable the List Special Maps option in settings.

To find skyshards and lorebooks change the filter mode in the main settings menu to Collectibles.

Each Elder Scrolls Online character can be tracked seperately by creating characters in ESO Surveyor. Characters can be added or removed from the main Settings Character option, accessed from the Filter tab.

This is optional, the "None" character is selected by default and can be used as normal.

The Consumables Filter Mode is where Surveys and Treasure Maps can be selected for discovery.

The Consumables Filter Mode is selected by default, but can be changed in the main Settings Filter Mode, accessed from the Filter tab.

The Consumables Filter screen is where items can be searched and selected for display in the Map or Detail screens.

To browse all survey and treasure locations, press the Select All button.

To start a new list of items, tap Clear All and search for items with the Search Bar located below the

Action Bar
.

Ensure the Apply Filter option is disabled and the Search Bar isn't hidden (tap the icon to hide and unhide).

Select or deselect each desired item by tapping it.

Find an item location by tapping the pin icon on each item on the Filter screen. Once you have uncovered a survey or treasure map, it should be deselected - this will help you keep track of what items are complete.

View item detail by tapping the info icon.

The filter that is active with the Apply Filter button can be customised in the Filter Settings, found in the overall Settings or the Filter Settings found by pressing the Filter button on the bottom bar.

The Collectibles Filter Mode is where Skyshards and Shalidor's Library collectibles can be checked off as they are discovered. This can also be acheived from the map view if Skyshards and Shalidor's Library collectibles are visible.

The Collectibles Filter Mode is not selected by default, but can be changed in the main Settings Filter Mode, accessed from the Filter tab.

Skyshards are grouped by zone and ordered as they are listed on the Zone Guide. Check the zone guide to tick off the discovered skyshards for your character.

Shalidor's Library books are initially grouped by zone and ordered as they are listed on the Zone Guide. Check the zone guide to tick off the discovered books for your character.

Shalidor's Library books can be grouped by Shalidor Collection, such as "Dungeon Lore" etc, to more easily tick off discovered books as they appear in the Journal. This is a toggle found in Filter Settings.

Public Dungeon fragments can be tracked in the Collectibles Filter Mode including a cooldown features to help keep track of the first fragment found per public dungeon per day. NOTE: not all public dungeon framents are tracked in this app. This is useful as the first fragment found per dungeon per day drops at a much higher rate. To mark that an item is now on cooldown, navigate to the Detail screen with the info icon and tap the item name to mark or unmark the cooldown status. The cooldown times are set based on server (reset 3am UTC for US, 10am UTC for UE servers). To change the server for the cooldown, use the NA Server setting in the Detail screen (set to false if EU server).

Zones can be sorted by missing items so that the zone with the most missing items can be at the top of the list and collected items are hidden. This can be helpful if you want to tick off all the collectibles in all of the zones! To enable this, select the Focus Missing Items option.

The map screen shows all map items not hidden and can be used to track item location and completion.

Items can be hidden and shown from the Detail screen and the Filter screen by Select All (show all items) and Clear All (hide all items).

Tapping on an item on the Map will target it. Tapping a targeted item will open a Confirm Map Interaction popup. Depending on the type of item targeted, it may be hidden, or selected and deselected.

Surveys and Treasure Maps can be cycled through by pressing the Cycle Button. The next nearby item will be selected when the cycle button is pressed. Once a zone is fully completed, the option to move to the next nearby zone with items will appear as the Cycle Zone Button. The cycle button can be hidden in the map settings.

Surveys and Treasure Maps can be completed (deselected) as you cycle through a zone with the Complete Item on Cycle option. Items will only be deselected from the map screen. An item with a multi (+) tag will have that tag removed before it is deselected to remind you to pick up all of the item instances.

Pressing the Map button while on the map screen will open the Map Settings Screen. Map icons can be shown or hidden from this screen, including Discoverable Locations, such as city and delve icons etc.

The map zone can be selected via zone selection menu in the Map Settings Screen. Zones with selected items will be listed with a '(1)' noting the amount of Surveys and Treasure Maps in that zone if the Consumables Filter Mode is active.

The detail screen displays information about the targeted item.

An item can be targeted by tapping on it's icon on the Map or pressing the info icon on the Filter screen .

The UESP wiki page can be loaded for a targeted item - select the Show UESP Wiki Page option in the Detail Settings screen by pressing the Detail icon again from the Detail screen or from the Main Settings on the Filter screen.

A blue info icon on the detail screen means there is more than one location listing for this item. Tap the info icon to browse the other location listings for the item.

If the map remains black and fails to load, this may just be due to a web library load failure, try the Reload Map option in Map Settings; if this fails, close and relaunch the app to fix.

Please report any bugs to mail@rxau.engineer with a subject line of "ESO Surveyor Bugs" and I'll endeavour to fix them as soon as I can.

ESO Surveyor Lite version covers the ESO base game only and does not contain surveys and treasure maps for DLC zones such as High Isles or The Deadlands. The full version is unrestricted.

Network connection is needed to load various libraries and assets not included in the initial app download to save space. The vast majority of these will only need to be downloaded once.
